Gite
Situated by the banks of the picturesque Benaize river, this idyllic, rustic, longere cottage enjoys stunning views of the rolling countryside of the east Vienne, just on the ege of the Limousin. From every room there are patio doors to access the front terrace, to sit and absorb the peace and tranquility of this unique location. Unwind in the beauty and simplicity of the natural surroundings, where the only sounds are the gentle burbling opf the river mingling with the rich variety of bird song.
Cross the river via the stepping stones on one of the many local circular walks. On the opposite bank of the river is oldest mill in the Vienne. Walk up the track to the Norman church in the hamlet of Marcilly. In the summer the river is perfect for paddling in to cool off, or to spend the day fishing.
